Real Help For Marriages

One thing is obvious...the institution of marriage needs help...YOUR help!

~ PRAY for Marriages! Pray for your own marriage...and pray for others. We know God rejoices when two become one. Marital intimacy was meant to be a precious gift for couples and He wants our children to grow up with loving parents who exemplify a healthy committed marriage.

~ Be A Friend! Let's be real for a moment. If you think you have it all together, you're not being honest with yourself. If your friends seem like their marriages are perfect all the time...they are putting on a really good front. Be brave and open up with your friends when you are struggling. Let's pause for a moment to make something very clear: Never breach trust and confidence with your husband, but don't be embarrassed to talk with a trusted friend or mentor. Be prayer partners and pray for each other. True friends are eager to help and love each other, even when our own inner thoughts or feelings are exposed.

~ Be A Mentor! You have a unique story, unique experiences and a unique purpose. Use your life story to become a mentor to other women. ~ Talk to your Daughter! The statistics on sex among teenagers and young adults are scary. Find a way to talk to your daughter about modesty, treasuring her own body and guarding her heart & mind against things that distort and destroy true beauty. Talk about sex as a treasured gift given to husbands & wives...but when it's abused or misused it leads to heartache. Statistics show it's not enough to tell her to wait...teach her why and how!
